Our specialist network

Medtu Care works with a network of specialist doctors across India who take on remote consultations, written second opinions, and treatment for international patients. The network works case-first: when you share your case, we match it to a specialist whose qualifications and current practice fit your condition. We do not hand you to whoever happens to be available.

Our doctor register is being finalized. We will publish a register here listing network doctors by name, with qualifications and medical-council registration numbers, once consent and credential checks are complete. We would rather show you nothing than show you names before those checks are done. In the meantime: when you share your case, we tell you privately which specialist we propose, their qualifications, and why they fit your condition, before you book anything.

What our vetting means

“Vetted network” is an easy phrase to write. At Medtu Care it means these standards, checked before a doctor consults for our patients: qualifications, registration, and indemnity, plus two things harder to certify.

Registration verification

We verify each doctor’s registration with the relevant medical council before they join the network, and current registration remains a requirement for as long as they stay in it.

Specialty qualifications

We check postgraduate and super-specialty qualifications against the conditions and procedures the doctor consults on for our patients.

Relevant, current experience

We look for sustained recent practice in the specialty: doctors actively treating the kinds of cases they would be consulting on, rather than lending a name.

Willingness to say “don’t travel”

A network doctor must be comfortable telling a patient that treatment at home, or no treatment, is the sensible answer. We want the doctors who will say that even when it costs us the booking.

Professional indemnity

We check that network doctors hold current professional indemnity cover appropriate to their practice. Accountability for a medical opinion needs real backing behind it.

Flat fees, never a percentage

Network doctors are paid flat consultation fees. No one in the chain earns a percentage of your treatment cost, so no one has a reason to steer you toward bigger procedures.

The consulting doctor is always responsible for the medical content of a consultation or opinion. Medtu Care is a facilitator: we verify credentials and coordinate the process, and all medical decisions rest with you and your treating doctors.
