Treatment facilitation in India

Travelling to another country for treatment involves two journeys: a medical one and a logistical one. The hospital is responsible for the first. We are accountable to you for the second: from the shortlist and the quotes to the dates, the paperwork, the travel, and what happens after discharge.

We take no commissions from hospitals. Our fees are paid by you, published upfront, and itemized separately from your hospital bill.

What you get

  • A shortlist of suitable hospitals for your procedure, selected hospital-neutrally and shared privately for your case
  • Itemized quotes from each shortlisted hospital, with our facilitation fee on its own line
  • Confirmed scheduling: we coordinate directly with hospitals and give you real dates for your case
  • Visa support: coordination of the hospital invitation letter your medical visa application needs
  • Travel and stay through our sister company Tripcuro: flights guidance, airport pickup, and accommodation near your hospital
  • A named coordinator during treatment for the practical things, so your family can focus on you
  • Discharge follow-through: records handover, medicines clarity, and a follow-up plan your local doctor can pick up

Fee: $1,000 (≈ ₹86,000), milestone-gated 30% / 40% / 30%: case dossier & hospital comparison report, admission & rate-lock with visa and travel, then treatment coordination with the discharge bill audit & follow-up handover. Every fee is credited in full to the next step: the $50 consultation fee comes off the $150 second opinion, and the $150 second-opinion fee comes off the $1,000 full journey fee. You never pay twice for moving forward. See the full fee schedule, crediting and refund rules.

INR equivalents are approximate, at about ₹86 per US dollar. The USD figure is the fee.

How it works

  1. 1

    Medical clarity first

Facilitation starts only after a specialist has reviewed your case (usually through a remote consultation or written second opinion) and travel makes sense.

  2. 2

    Shortlist and quotes

We obtain itemized quotes from suitable hospitals and walk you through them line by line: surgeon fees, implant or device costs, room categories, expected stay.

  3. 3

    Dates, visa and travel

Once you choose, we confirm admission dates with the hospital, coordinate the visa invitation letter, and Tripcuro arranges your travel and stay.

  4. 4

    Treatment and after

Your coordinator handles the practical side during treatment. Before you fly home you get your complete records, and we help set up the follow-up your local doctor will need.

Who it's for

  • You have decided on treatment in India and want one accountable point of coordination
  • You compared hospital marketing pages and cannot tell what anything costs
  • You are travelling with family and need the non-medical logistics handled properly
  • You were referred by an agent who is paid by hospitals, and you would rather have someone paid by you

The honest scope of facilitation

  • We coordinate care; we do not deliver it. Diagnosis, treatment and how complications are handled belong to the treating hospital and its doctors, which is why hospital selection gets the attention it does.
  • Visa decisions belong to the Indian authorities. We coordinate the invitation letter and prepare your dossier, and we will never claim to influence a decision or a timeline.
  • We never hold treatment money. You pay every hospital charge directly, on the hospital's own invoice, at the rate locked in writing before you travel.

Treatment facilitation: FAQs

Why don’t you name hospitals on the website?
Because a public list would push cases toward listed names instead of the right fit. Hospital selection is case-by-case: the specialists your condition needs, the infrastructure for your procedure, accreditation, and your budget. We share named options privately, with itemized quotes, once we are working on your case.
What do you charge for facilitation?
A flat $1,000 (approximately ₹86,000) for the full journey, paid in three milestones: 30% for your case dossier and a written comparison report across three named hospitals with itemized quotes, 40% for confirmed admission with a locked rate plus the visa-invitation letter, visa dossier and travel plan, and 30% for on-ground coordination, the discharge bill audit and the follow-up handover. Each milestone is paid when its work starts. Any $150 second-opinion fee you already paid is credited in full. The complete schedule and refund rules are on our Fees page. And what was always fixed: We take no commissions from hospitals. Our fees are paid by you, published upfront, and itemized separately from your hospital bill.
Do you handle the medical visa?
We coordinate the part hospitals control (the invitation letter your application needs) and point you to the official application channel for your country. We don’t make visa decisions and won’t pretend to influence them; timelines are set by the authorities.
What if something goes wrong medically during treatment?
Medical care, including complications, is the treating hospital’s responsibility, and how they handle it is part of why hospital selection matters. Our role is to make sure you always know who is responsible for what, that communication doesn’t break down, and that your records are complete.
Can my spouse or children travel with me?
Usually yes. Attendants typically apply for visas linked to the patient’s medical visa. Tripcuro plans accommodation and logistics around your companions from the start.
