Online second opinion from Indian specialists

Before a major operation or a course of treatment, a second pair of specialist eyes on your file is one of the most reasonable things you can ask for. We arrange exactly that: an independent specialist reviews your records and gives you their assessment in writing. The document is yours, in language you can understand.

Fee: $150 (≈ ₹12,900). Every fee is credited in full to the next step: the $50 consultation fee comes off the $150 second opinion, and the $150 second-opinion fee comes off the $1,000 full journey fee. You never pay twice for moving forward. See the full fee schedule and crediting rules.

We take no commissions from hospitals. Our fees are paid by you, published upfront, and itemized separately from your hospital bill.

INR equivalents are approximate, at about ₹86 per US dollar. The USD figure is the fee.

    A structured document addressed to you, in plain English, covering the diagnosis, the advised treatment, and the options. We confirm the expected turnaround for your case when we receive your file.

The honest scope of a written opinion

  • The opinion is only as good as the records it is based on. If key reports or imaging are missing, we will ask for them before the review starts, or tell you plainly that a useful opinion is not possible from what you have.
  • It is an independent assessment, not a diagnosis at a distance and not a treatment order. It does not replace your treating doctor, and it will sometimes agree entirely with the advice you already have, which is itself worth knowing.
  • The medical content belongs to the reviewing specialist; our role is the facilitation around it. All medical decisions rest with you and your treating doctors.

Second opinion: FAQs

How is this different from a remote consultation?
A remote consultation is a live conversation; a second opinion is a written document produced after a specialist reviews your records. Many patients do both: a written opinion first, then a call to discuss it. If you are unsure which fits, tell us your situation and we will suggest the cheaper sensible path.
Will the second opinion tell me what to do?
It will give you a specialist’s independent assessment and lay out the options. It will not make the decision for you, and it does not replace your treating doctor. All medical decisions rest with you and your treating doctors; the point of the document is that you make them better informed.
How long does it take?
It depends on your condition, the volume of records, and specialist availability, so we don’t print a number here. We confirm the expected turnaround for your specific case when we receive your file, before you pay anything.
What does it cost?
$150 (approximately ₹12,900), confirmed in writing before the review starts, and itemized separately from any hospital charges if you later choose treatment in India. If you started with a $50 remote consultation, that fee is credited in full here; if you go on to full journey coordination, the full $150 is credited against it. What records does the specialist need?
Typically your most recent clinic letters or discharge summaries, imaging reports, lab results, and biopsy/pathology reports where relevant. After we connect we send you a secure upload link and a simple checklist for your condition.
