    Zimbabwean nationals can generally apply online for India’s e-Medical visa. Confirm current eligibility and validity terms on the official Indian visa portal, as rules change. Confirm current eligibility and validity terms on the official Indian visa portal before applying, because rules change. Companions can apply for linked e-Medical Attendant visas. OCI cardholders do not need a medical visa.

Two separate payments, never mixed. Treatment costs go from you to the hospital directly, on the hospital's own invoice, at rates we lock in writing before you travel. We never hold or route treatment money. Our facilitation fee is published on the Fees page ($50 teleconsult · $150 written second opinion · $1,000 full journey, milestone-gated), each step credited in full to the next. Zimbabwe’s US-dollar reality simplifies this: our quotes are in USD, most families hold or can access USD, and banks process foreign-currency payments for medical treatment abroad. Confirm current requirements with your bank. A relative in the diaspora can also pay the hospital directly in their own currency, with everyone seeing the same documents. We take no commissions from hospitals. Our fees are paid by you, published upfront, and itemized separately from your hospital bill.

Built for the family-funded journey

In most Zimbabwean cases the payer is not one person: it is a family WhatsApp group, a church, a burial society turned medical committee, a sister in Johannesburg and an uncle in Leicester. We write every document (the quote, the fee invoice, the milestone receipt) for that reality, with verifiable USD numbers a committee spread across three countries can read, question, and trust. Agents paid by hospitals have no reason to produce documents like that. You pay us, so we produce them.

How do I actually pay from Zimbabwe?
Mostly in US dollars, and that is simpler than it sounds. Zimbabwe’s economy runs on a multi-currency system in which the US dollar dominates, many families hold USD accounts or cash, and banks process foreign-currency payments for recognized needs such as medical treatment abroad. Confirm current requirements with your own bank. Our quotes are in USD anyway, so there is no exchange-rate guesswork between the quote and the bill. Treatment money always goes from you to the hospital directly, and we never hold it. A relative abroad can also pay the hospital directly in their own currency.
Why India rather than South Africa?
Sometimes it shouldn’t be. South Africa is closer, and for some cases it is the sensible choice. We will say so when that is true. Families choose India most often when the procedure is priced far beyond reach at private rates nearer home, or when a specific specialty capability matters for the case. The honest way to decide is an independent specialist opinion and itemized quotes you can put side by side, which the first two steps of our process produce before anyone books a flight.
I am of Indian origin, or hold an OCI card: does anything change?
OCI cardholders do not need a separate medical visa to travel to India for treatment. Zimbabwe’s Indian-origin community, though smaller than its neighbours’, has deep roots in Harare and Bulawayo, and families often have relatives in India already. The rest of the process (records, teleconsult, itemized quotes, admission) is the same for everyone.
