    You share your diagnosis and what has been advised. We send a secure link for reports and imaging (nothing sensitive goes through the website form). Records in Portuguese are workable: we organize what exists into a file a specialist can act on, and flag anything that needs translation early.

    Teleconsult or written second opinion

    Before anyone books a flight, a specialist relevant to your condition reviews your case: a $50 video consultation or a $150 written opinion. Consultations run in English; where a hospital offers interpretation we can arrange it, and we ask about your language needs upfront. Sometimes the honest answer is that travel is not needed, or that a nearer option serves you better.

    Your decision

    If treatment in India makes sense, you get itemized quotes from suitable hospitals and a side-by-side comparison for your case. You decide; there is no obligation to continue.

    Medical visa

    Cabo Verdean nationals can generally apply online for India’s e-Medical visa. Confirm current eligibility on the official Indian visa portal, as rules change. We coordinate the hospital invitation letter the application needs and give you a document checklist.

    Travel

    There are no direct flights from Cape Verde to India. Realistic routings usually run two stops, most often through Lisbon and then a European or Gulf hub onward to India. Cabo Verdean nationals are generally eligible for India's e-Medical visa, applied for online before travel. Confirm current eligibility and validity terms on the official Indian visa portal before applying; rules change. Up to two companions can typically apply for linked e-Medical Attendant visas. The escudo's fixed euro peg keeps a home-currency budget stable, and a relative in Portugal, the US or elsewhere in the diaspora can pay the hospital directly in their own currency, seeing the same documents you do. We take no commissions from hospitals. Our fees are paid by you, published upfront, and itemized separately from your hospital bill.

What to prepare

  • A passport valid well beyond your travel dates (check the current validity requirement when applying)
  • Your most recent medical reports, imaging and prescriptions (originals where possible, in Portuguese is fine)
  • A realistic funding plan: who is paying (at home or abroad) and how the money reaches the hospital directly
  • Any papers from a referral or evacuation process you have already been through, if one was started
  • Your two or three most important questions for the specialist, written down
